Dear anyone who is reading this, :)
My name is Thuy Duong. I went to AIS when I was in grade 7, and it has been two years I study in AIS. I was born in Ha Noi, the capital of Viet Nam. My dad gave me my name and it means peaceful ocean, isn't it sound calm and quiet. I don't know why but sometimes what my parents want me to be, as the results, I'm the opposite with their expect. For instance, I'm like to chat with my friends at school, at home, everywhere. I also like to listen to music with high volume, sing to myself. And that doesn't sound peaceful nor quiet at all. My father is an engineer, he manufactures wooden panel, filler wire, etc... for constructions, ships, too. He is kinda busy so I don't have much time with him because he's always on assignments. But each time we have chance to talk to each other, that conversation can last for 2 to 3 hours. My mom works in accounting department in my dad's company. She is busy, too. However, she tries to stay at home with us on weekends. I am my parents' first child, next is my sister. She is in grade 2 now and my brother is the youngest, he is 5 years old. My sister and brother are very lovely and cute, although also loud and sometimes stubborn, just like me ;). Being near with my family makes me feel comfortable, happy and safe, therefore I don't think I can live without family. At school, I have quite a lot of friends. My friends and I always chat together, we hang out together sometimes. This school year, my goal is to get into the distinguished list. Every time I see a gorgeous and beautiful building, my heart is like want to run out from my body. I can imagine myself live in the house, doing my habits and enjoying the fresh air space. In the future, I want to be an architect, drawing houses for people so they can have nice shelters. My dad thinks it is a tough job for a girl but I love to design things, I designed my room, my parents's room and all the door in my house. I am excited when I get older and I can build many more buildings. My favorite things to do are waking up late in the morning, reading books, surfing the internet, studying [thinking], shopping with my mom or my friends and travelling. I love to read, even read the ingredients of a bottle of ketchup is still interesting to me [jk]. I read novels, newspapers, short stories, magazines. If you can see my other blog, which is my language arts blog and geography blog, you would see that I wrote I hate poems. Ironically, I have changed my mind. After studying poems in class with my peers and teacher, I now find that poems are not just words that rhyme and make funny sounds, poems are meaningful, take time to read and understand. I have studied English since I was 7 years old. I love studying English, I mean, English helps me a lot in my job in the future, it helps me socialize easily with people that don't come from Viet Nam. I wish one day I can go to....well, I haven't thought of that yet :))That's my story, bye!!!
