the pattern of similar vowel sounds at the end of words, lines. by the same sounds of vowels, it is like vowels rhyme and it sounds like the writer is trying to intensify the meaning of the words.

assonance in a poem can make music by its similar sounds make up from vowels which end with the same sounds. the rhythm that is made therefore creates beats, music while reading the poem.
