Term #8 - TONE

definition:
(1)the rhythm of your voice, saying or reading something with an expressive voice, for example, rises up, goes down, flat, emphasizing, light, high, low...
(2)how the story's mood is like depends on the use of words of the writer.
example:
(1) Kevjumba is a youtuber that subscribed by many people (nearly 1,500,000 subscribers). The reason why his videos are so catchy and well-known is because of his tone in his videos, really expressive. He rises his voice up and down appropriately, adds his hands to emphasize his words. Also his face is expressive as well, really shows what is up in his mind.
(2)
Dawn blushed; betrayed her waking sky
To gently break another morrow fine.
Night waned – the black receding – highland
Reaching for the early morning wine.

The chorus rendered frantic caws and
Chirps and other avian song,
Mapping out the 'mine and yours, ' and
Goading more to sing along!

Quiescent water – deep of lake –
Reflected out the hazy red, but
Through the glass, a flick, a break:
An urgent tail from hidden bed!

And in the meadow, waking faces
Calmly spread a coloured veil;
The dew disclosing spider laces –
Oft with once a fly’s travail!

Dawn blushed; revealed her inner peace;
She handed on another blissful day.
Night ebbed, relenting to release of
Warming blood that gives to her display.

the tone of this song is calm,  quiet, peaceful and enjoying what the nature grants the human.

significance:
